A Gaelic Partnership: The Clàrsach at the National Mòd

A special concert will take place during this year’s Royal National Mod, featuring two accomplished Gaelic singers, National Mòd Gold Medallists, Wilma Kennedy and James Graham along with multi-talented harpists Màiri and Calum Macleod.

This concert will celebrate 120 years of unbroken links between the National Mòd and the clàrsach. Old and new songs from the bilingual foursome will chart a fascinating illustrated account of this journey from the first Mòd in 1892 through to today’s links with local and National Mòds.

A previous performance took place during the Edinburgh International Harp Festival in April and the second event will take place on Wednesday 17th October.
