The Royal National Mod is the biggest Gaelic cultural festival in Scotland and provides a range of opportunities for sponsors and supporters to promote their products and services while supporting Scotland’s Gaelic cultural heritage.
The ongoing support of the various public sector agencies such as the Local Authorities in the Western Isles, Argyll & Bute, Falkirk, Highland and Perth & Kinross and also the Highlands & Islands Enterprise network is crucial.
Caledonian MacBrayne have a long association with the Highlands & Islands and West Coast of Scotland as providers of lifeline shipping services and have been key Supporters of the Royal National Mod since Mod 2002 in Largs. Other private sector support comes from the Royal Mail Group .
A number of Gaelic promotion and development agencies such as Bòrd na Gàidhlig, and Comhairle nan Leabhraichean also provide valuable support.
