An Comunn Gàidhealach is delighted to let you know that there will be a one day conference “The Local Mods - Today and In the Future”, to be held on the 24th February at Eden Court in Inverness. We will all have an opportunity on the day, to discuss how we are promoting celebrating and using our Mods. We are also committed to supporting Local Mod committees and we hope that you will be willing to engage in debate about what goes well and what does not go so well with your Mods. We will be using the information gathered to develop and improve events over the coming years. We will have an interesting program on the day, full of useful information on topics such as “Funding”, “Mods and the Internet”, and also “How the Results System works at the National Mòd”. ACG President Maggie Cunningham will welcome everyone on the day. There will be a ceilidh on the night at the British Legion in Inverness, with the well known “Black Isle Ceilidh Band”. We hope that you will be with us for this special inaugural event, to discuss together “The Mods - Today and in the Future” and we are looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions. We recommend the Leonardo Hotel for accommodation where you will get a rate of around £75 for B&B, but there are many other hotels in the area also.
