The awards for this year’s Literature competitions were presented as part of the Mòd Literature Days. Prizes are awarded each year for a range of literary competitions for children and adults.

The most prestigious of the literature prizes to be awarded is the historic Bard of An Comunn Gàidhealach which last year was bestowed upon Scottish academic, poet and short story writer Meg Bateman.

Congratulations to all of the prize-winners - 2024 art entries can be viewed in the PDFs linked below - and thanks to all who took part the competitions.

Results from Mòd competitions are available to view here (junior literature 2025 on Monday, senior Wednesday). Our grateful thanks to all our supporters for this year’s Mòd Literature Day: SQA, The Gaelic Books Council, Bòrd na Gàidhlig and The Learned Kindred of Currie.
