Like many other events and festivals, the Royal National Mòd, due to take place in Inverness in October 2020, fell victim to the on-going Coronavirus pandemic.
An Comunn Gàidhealach were delighted to announce that they would be holding an online version of Am Mòd Nàiseanta Rìoghail. In keeping with the tradition, the event took place during October, allowing our Gaelic community to celebrate and showcase our language and music.
Junior and senior participants recorded performances in their respective categories and uploaded and submited their performances online with performances being showcased via The Royal National Mòd’s social media channels in October.
You can view all of the Virtual Mod events and Fringe events on the Royal National Mod Facebook page or on the An Comunn Gaidhealach YouTube channel.
