Royal National Mòd News

New Mod Entry Deadline

Published: 22 Mar 2016

Please note that we have new deadlines for entry to this year’s Royal National Mod and for Own Choice Submissions.

All those wishing to submit PAPER entries will have to do so by 31 May 2016. Paper entries WILL NOT be accepted after this date.

Similarly, anyone wishing to submit their own choice pieces by POST must do so by 31 May 2016.

A new deadline has been created for those wishing to enter by our online system. All those intending on entering online will have until 30 June 2016 to do so. This deadline also applies for own choice pieces being submitted online.

Entries and own choice submissions via email WILL NOT be accepted under any circumstances.

We would encourage competitors not to leave their entries until the last minute in case of any problems or queries that may arise.

As you will be aware, we have been developing our online system over the last couple of years and we are encouraging all competitors to use this facility as much as possible. By extending the online entry date by a month, we hope this will encourage more competitors to use the system. Should you require any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

DEADLINES

Entry by post – 31 May 2016

Own Choice submissions by post – 31 May 2016

Online Entry – 30 June 2016

Please note, as some schools will be closing for their Summer break before the online deadline, please ensure that you provide a contact number where we can reach you out with term time. Failure to do so may affect your entry.

Please pass this important information on to any competitors, Secretaries, Music Instructors who this may concern and who may be dealing with your entries.
