MG ALBA (The Gaelic Media Service) is undertaking a series of public meetings seeking the views of communities throughout Scotland on the future of Gaelic broadcasting. Meetings will be held as follows and all are welcome to attend:
Thursday 5 March - Glasgow - Coffee & Craic - 5pm
Friday 6 March - Glasgow - Glasgow University - 2pm
Thursday 12 March - Skye - Sabhal Mòr Ostaig - 7pm
Friday 13 March - Inverness - Waterside Hotel - 12.30pm
Monday 16 March - Oban - Caledonian Hotel - 12.30pm
Monday 16 March - Fort William - West End Hotel - 5.30pm
Wednesday 18 March - Tiree - An Talla - 7pm
Thursday 19 March - Lewis - Ness Historical Society - 7pm
Friday 20 March - South Uist - Cothrom - 12.30pm
Friday 20 March - Barra - Castlebay Community School - 7.30pm
In addition to the public meetings MG ALBA is also welcoming people’s views via an online questionnaire with details available on www.mgalba.com.
